Further Enterprise Network Footprint Enhancements and Local Sales Team Now Delivering Mission-Critical Connectivity to the Region
COLUMBUS, Ohio – November 16, 2022 – Horizon, a Midwest fiber-optic company, today announces the completion of its fiber optic network expansion in Dayton, Ohio. This enhanced network project ties into Horizon’s existing 6,000 route miles of fiber serving Ohio and surrounding states. The completed build is designed to provide mission-critical fiber solutions supporting large verticals such as healthcare, government, and higher education with fiber-based Ethernet, Internet, hosted voice, wavelength, dark fiber, and data center connectivity services. Horizon is also excited to announce the addition of its local enterprise sales team dedicated specifically to serving the Dayton region business community.
This fiber optic network project, which delivers robust connectivity and networking services across downtown, mid-town, inner-east, and south Dayton while surrounding the University, was first announced in October 2020. This fiber network is purpose-built for unparalleled 99.999% uptime and delivers route protection and equipment resiliency within Horizon’s core network.
