Earlier this month, Horizon hosted a holiday luncheon and food drive for the tenants at Broughton Business Park in Marietta, Ohio. As a premier fiber network provider to Broughton campuses, Horizon wanted to share appreciation to the commercial park and give back to the local community. With both Broughton and Horizon having a long history of philanthropy, both groups thought there was no better way this time of year to give back then to support the Greater Marietta Community Food Pantry.
Tenants of the park were invited to a free lunch and offered raffle tickets for their non-perishable food and toiletry donations. While the tenant turnout was good, the donations were far greater! From bags to pallets, a handful of local businesses were very generous this year.
A huge thank you from everyone at Horizon, Broughton Business Park, and Greater Marietta Community Food Pantry goes out to Nine Energy Service and Power System Engineering, Inc. for all you gave to bring holiday joy to many Marietta community members. When a community, no matter the size, comes together it makes a huge impact.
