Columbus, OH – March 13, 2019 – Horizon, an Ohio based Fiber-Optic broadband company, has been selected by a national cellular carrier to provide fiber backhaul to a significant number of their Ohio cell towers. This award will allow Horizon to continue expanding its network throughout the state.
“We are excited the national wireless carriers continue to demonstrate their confidence in Horizon by awarding us more and more sites — typically sites that had been previously served by less reliable carriers,” says Bill McKell, Horizon CEO. “We look forward to building on this momentum by extending our high quality, high reliability network to more and more markets throughout the region.”
Horizon’s state-of-the art network was specifically designed and built for customers with demanding needs, such as health care providers and wireless carriers, who require the very best network possible. In recent years, Horizon’s network has experienced significant expansion throughout Ohio and surrounding states.
