Horizon Wins – June 2020 – A large regional bank in eastern Ohio has chosen Horizon for Ethernet services to 15 locations.
The regional bank was in need of a faster and more reliable network to connect several critical locations, including their corporate Headquarters and main data center. Horizon’s solution connects 15 sites with redundancy and higher bandwidth capabilities, as well as data center diversity with increased Ethernet and Internet speeds.
“Our ability to provide a customized solution, centered around our fiber network, allows for not only the diversity the bank was looking for, but also the flexibility and scalability to increase bandwidth as the bank’s needs continue to grow,” says Glenn Lytle, Chief Revenue Officer for Horizon. “We worked with the bank to engineer the most optimal solution for POP and data center diversity to the 15 locations providing true redundant connectivity.”
With the completion of the agreement, Horizon will soon provide ELAN, ELINE and DIA with speeds up to 1 Gbps with the flexibility to increase in the future should the network demand it. The partnership will also work to bring additional bank sites onto the network at later dates.
